I guess the fact that normally don’t like musicals all that much is a reason I didn’t like it. It’s also an extremely disturbing movie overall with the killing of customers to make pies. A seriously demented idea. But the acting was great, the singing was great, the songs were actually pretty good. I have never read the book. I’ve heard numerous times that the movie doesn’t do the book justice, but I don’t really care I love this movie.<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brad_Pitt" style="margin-top: 0px !important; outline-color: initial; outline-style: none; outline-width: 0px;" target="_blank">Brad Pitt</a>&nbsp;is one of my favorite actors, and I think he did an exceptional job as Louis.&nbsp;<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_Cruise" style="outline-color: initial; outline-style: none; outline-width: 0px;" target="_blank">Tom Cruise</a>&nbsp;did a fairly good job as Lestat. I also really liked&nbsp;<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kirsten_Dunst" style="outline-color: initial; outline-style: none; outline-width: 0px;" target="_blank">Kirsten Dunst</a>&nbsp;as Claudia; it’s my favorite role I’ve seen her play. I didn’t so much like any of the others actors in the movie, including&nbsp;<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antonio_Banderas" style="outline-color: initial; outline-style: none; outline-width: 0px;" target="_blank">Antonio Banderas</a>&nbsp;as Armand. Despite the details of things puzzling together, the movie is very very good. Most of the acting throughout the film is spectacular; the only one I didn’t really like too much was Angel. It’s one of the more popular recent releases. But if you live under a rock, here’s the gist of it: It’s Valentine’s Day and we follow the good and the bad experiences of a few singles and a few couples in Los Angeles. The most important being the cheating bastard, the proposal gone wrong, the secret life of a call girl, the virgins looking to lose their virginity, and the perpetually single/career obsessed publicist. There are a couple other story lines but they aren’t that prevalent.&nbsp;</span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', HelveticaNeue, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px;">Overall it’s a pretty decent movie. If you like chick-flicks you’ll like this movie. It’s chessy and predictable, but what else can you really expect from a Valentine’s Day themed movie.
